Specializing in modern handcrafted items and vintage design from the mid-20th century, Still Life stocks home goods, clothing, shoes, jewelry, baby gear, bath and body items, prints, posters and artwork and whatever else strikes owner Sarah Stoudt’s fancy. A former buyer in the fashion industry, currently shop owner, jewelry designer, part-time massage therapist and full-time mom to 2 very high-energy kids, Sarah has created Still Life as a life-style store catering to local Hudson Valley clientele as well as weekenders and vacationers enjoying all the beauty the area has to offer. She brings a clean, modern eye to her store with a particular focus on color and form. Keeping prices reasonable is an important ethos of the store as Sarah feels the special items in the store are best loved in someone’s home or on their person than sitting on a shelf or rack.
